Join our Continuous Improvement (CI) team as a trainee to support Lean and CI initiatives within our GSS. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow into a Lean expert while driving process excellence, fostering engagement, and delivering measurable operational savings. You will collaborate closely with the CI Lead to design & run training programs, facilitate problem-solving activities, and empower teams with Lean mindset and methodologies.

1. Training & Content Development

- Assist in organizing, coordinating, and delivering Lean/CI trainings and workshops.

- Collaborate with the CI Lead to design engaging, practical content (e.g., case studies, toolkits & templates utilizing Microsoft SharePoint, Loop & Team room).

2. Process Improvement & Problem Solving

- Lead / take active part in process mapping sessions to identify & eliminate waste.

- Utilize data-driven methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis, PDCA, 5w, A3 & Kata) to support teams in solving operational challenges.

- Help drive ideation program

3. Learning & Development

- Commit to becoming a Lean/CI subject-matter expert through mentorship, coaching, and self-guided learning (e.g., books, webinars, certifications). You will have a CI mentor on daily basis that will help you!

- Stay updated on industry trends and integrate best practices into training materials and projects.

4. Administrative & Operational Support

- Manage logistics for CI events, including scheduling, invitations, and documentation (meeting minutes, action trackers).

- Own the implementation of some of improvement ideas under the guidance of the CI Lead.

5. Leadership & Collaboration

- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by coaching teams on Lean thinking and problem-solving frameworks.

- Demonstrate curiosity, patience, and analytical rigor—avoid rushing to solutions without thorough analysis.

- Passion for Lean/CI methodologies and operational excellence.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

- Excellent communication and facilitation skills to engage diverse stakeholders.

- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of tasks.

- Basic proficiency in process mapping (e.g., Visio, Bizagi, sticky notes ) and MS Office (Power Platform too)

- Prior exposure to shared services environments / production (e.g., finance, procurement) is a plus but not needed.
